No, on at least 4 occasions, including to Amber herself, Depp acknowledged that he cut his own finger off while drunk and high. Depp's story at trial as to how Amber injured his finger made no logical sense.  He claimed his hand was palm down on a bar and she threw a bottle that hit his hand and "exploded". Somehow this bottle managed to only injure his middle most finger, left no glass in the wound, no cuts anywhere on his hand, and only cut the underside of his finger. He then proceeded to use that finger to scrawl messages all over the house in blood.  When his blood would dry up he'd dip the severed finger in paint and continue writing. During this multiple day bender Amber stated he was so drunk and high with no sleep that he was in psychosis.  In addition to painting the wall with his severed fingertip he smeared mashed potatoes around the house and cut up her nightgown and wrapped pieces of raw meat inside.  He then hid those pieces of meat in different locations around the house.

No, she didn't poop in the bed. At the time Depp wasn't even living there and hadn't been for a month. Their little Yorkie Boo had eaten some of Depp's weed and was experiencing stomach issues.  He had already pooped in the bed, directly onto Depp himself, in the past.  This was a rumor started by him to humiliate and discredit her.  Depp himself sent a text to his assistant asking him to "leave a coil of dookie" in front of Amber's door and blame it on the dog.

This rumor circulated when Milani cosmetics inserted itself into the social media circus by making a Tiktok about the palette being released after the marriage.  They were just one of many brands and influencers who used the trial to gain attention in hopes of going viral. 

No, Amber's former assistant was bitter and vengeful. She wrote a vague statement, for the UK trial, with no detail claiming Amber stole her rape story. This claim was a last minute witness statement and at trial she said she had read court documents while preparing and couldn't believe what she was reading.  This declaration fell apart under cross exam when the judge himself asked her point blank if she had read any confidential information and she said no.  Amber's sexual assault testimony had been given under seal so there was no way for her to have read anything.  She later said she was talking about how Amber had repeated a conversation that she and James had where Kate James told her about the time she was raped.  This rumor was specifically designed to imply Amber lied about her sexual assault.  Kate James was later caught in a lie when she denied having any recent contact with Depp.  Text messages between them showed that, days before the divorce was finalized, Depp invited her over for wine so that they could fix Amber's flabby ass.  The unsealed documents also showed in her deposition that she asked Depp to allow her to stay in one of his houses after she was fired.

No, an airport employee saw Amber and her then wife having an argument where Amber grabbed her arm and she called an officer. Amber and her ex-wife said it wasn't until the officer found out that they were a couple that he decided to arrest her.  She was released the next morning and never charged.  Depp's team leaked this information after the abuse accusations, prompting her former partner to speak out on her behalf to debunk the story as nothing more than an overblown misunderstanding.  They remain friends today and she was even on Amber's witness list to testify for her if need be.

No, and this was one of the more outrageous rumors/lies to come out of the trial.  Amber blew her nose and someone started the ridiculous lie that she snorted cocaine out of a tissue.  Mind you she was several feet from the judge, the tissue came from the court room, and she was on live tv.

This is another absolutely ridiculous rumor used to invalidate the UK judgment.  How would a 30 something actress have a prior personal relationship with a British judge who just happened to be assigned to the case against The Sun?

This is patently false. The discovery phase of the UK and US trials were happening at the same time.  Depp's attorneys in the UK had access to discovery in the US case.  The rumor that Amber wasn't subject to discovery in the UK is laughable in that no witness would be allowed to testify before being vetted and remember his attorneys had access to the Virginia discovery. Amber's pictures and files were used in the UK trial so Depp's request for her to produce them in the US trial was redundant and served largely to force her to needlessly expend more costs. Neither side is going to turn over their physical devices to the opposite side so exchanging media required hiring experts to pull and analyze the information.  Most people also don't have every single physical device from the last 10 years.  Depp's team continuously stalled on starting and then finishing the process of exchanging media with Amber's team. Then shortly before the trial Depp's attorney filed a motion for sanctions claiming Amber's side had intentionally given them too much data to wade through without enough time to go through and as a result wanted the judge to either exclude her pictures entirely or to allow them to tell the jury that their authenticity couldn't be verified.  Depp had so little evidence that his team strategy was to instead exclude or invalidate hers.
